People here complain that researchers don't contribute entries to that edited guide. Now I know why. I wrote this entry about dream interpretation, due to a request on a forum I'm on, and submitted it to PR. And there it remains buried. So is it a wonder that I don't want to write anymore? I don't know if it was done deliberately or out of sheer laziness, but no one seems to want to touch it with a stick. So I'll just refer people to it from now on, instead of having to defend myself for writing something about a subject that not everyone believes in, god forbid, and daring to put it up for Peer Review.
Rant over.

I'm not sure what the problem is, except that there is already a guide entry or two on dreams, and I think they at least touch on the subject of dream interpretation. Perhaps those who are involved with peer review were also expecting some conventional interpretations of specific dreams symbols in the body of the entry to be included too.
It seems that a lot of people who used to be heavily involved in peer review have abandoned it, because they were sick of the plethora of entries titled "Earth" with the entry reading only "mostly harmless", or personal little dittys that simply don't fit anywhere into the edited guide, or have been done numerous times. Your entry, while it could probably use a little fleshing out, definitely does not fit into that category.
Things move slowly through peer review though, from everything I've been able to see. If your entry falls off the first couple pages of new entries (because there were far too many pointless entries added after it was submitted) before much is done to it to ready it for editing, it may be buried, unless you bump it to the top by making some kind of changes in it, or starting a new conversation on the entry page.
Even after it's gone through peer review and is ready for final editing for the EG, it could be months before it's ever added to the guide. It's just a long, drawn-out process.

Here's a thought -- have you spent some time reviewing other people's entries in Peer Review? It can sometimes be a case of "what goes around, comes around" -- if you help other people with their entries, other people will help you.
Myself, I'm not interested enough in dream interpretation that I would normally show up in a PR thread on the topic. But if I'd seen that you'd been trying to help others with their PR entries, I'd feel much more motivated to come check out your PR thread and see if there was any way I could help.

Elly - you contributed at Ask to my entry Bad Hair Day - A5264552 but you haven't reviewed the entry itself.

It's been dead for over 2 weeks, so if you want to read the entry & comment, I'll return the favour

I have read your entry GB. I thought it was edited and there wasn't anything else I could add to it.
As for being in PR, I did do some Scouting and Sub-Editing in my day, Mikey, and I can only go on h2g2 while at work, if the server lets me. I can't spend hours in PR, simply because I don't have the time.
And thank you for your kind words, Lady Scott. I know the process is long, after being a part of it. I won't mind fleshing the entry up next time I have a quiet afternoon at work, but I don't know when that's going to be.
