on 25 June this Article popped onto the FP as if it were new.
Checking the date however it is obviously old.
I only started looking at the date when I tried the link to
guideML and got a link to guidepost
I think somebody needs to look at this and figure out what's up here.

Entries have been repeated on the front page for years now. Every day, there's one or two old entries linked to below the new one(s). Check U230056 for proof

another thing- why can't the official front pages use that circle r so we can tell when an article is a reprint.

I would say that the date is a dead give-away.
And I'm not entirely sure why it matters so much anyway?

there is no date on the front page
and if they were to reprint the article on Uranus there
you would see a date December 2000 in the article
completely misleading as the article was completely updated in 2009.

It's because you chose the wrong place to post. If somebody who has been here for more than eight years, is a field researcher and has written 25+ guide entries still doesn't know where to post editorial feedback, then I guess they'll just have to wait until somebody discovers this thread.

I guess being an Ace only means you have to be nice to new researchers not us old farts that forget where things are.
I guess I will go and do this again in EF.

You were cross at me, although I tried to be helpful. I was NOT impolite, I merely told you what to expect when posting to the wrong forum.

And I continue to be . If you consider showing my emotions impolite spo be it.
that's what emoticons were designed for.
If they don't want people to be cross they should not have a cross smiley.
Key: Complain about this post
