Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, what happens? I develop full blown, chronic psoriasis. Its unspeakably dreadful, unsightly and altogether highly distressing.
I look like Frankenstein's bride. Can't go anywhere, missing parties and dinners, don't want to be seen like this and can't wear any of my nice new little black numbers as they show off too much. A burka would be ideal right now.
Tomorrow have an appointment with top specialist in Harley Street. Keeping fingers crossed he can help, but fear he'll say there's nothing that can be done.

Hi St Patrick
Psoriasis is a skin condition where your body develops red, scaly, (in my case) patches which flake and itch and spread all over the torso, legs, arms, face, scalp, you name it! It's generally bought on by stress or extreme emotional upset, as in my case. It's very unsightly, uncomfortable, and yes, it IS that bad.
However, the Harley Street Specialist (ten minute consultation cost me £125 ) prescribed some ointments (another £50) and my face has rapidly cleared up! The body will take a little longer
. The best cure for this type of condition is really sun and sea, so might have to book myself a little trip to somewhere hot!

oh soz Just shows the problem of ignorance on my part I suppose.
? If you do go somewhere, where would you go?
Oh joy!
Go-Go Girl Posted Feb 27, 2002
Silly St P!
You're not ignorant...it's just something you haven't come across before in life...and why should you have?
In the ideal world, I would wend my way somewhere hot and tropical...the Carribean, Mauritius, Belize or some spot on the Mexican coast However, I've just booked a ticket to the U.S., as I am going to stay with a friend in Santa Fe (New Mexico) for two weeks. It may not be hot and tropical, but Santa Fe is my most favourite place on earth! It's a very special, spiritual place, and it's absolutely beautiful beyond imagination. It will be very healing and I can't wait! (Besides I did hot& tropical at Xmas.)
How's things with you?

Is the David you're referring to your brother?
I wish I knew what to say, but am hindered by not knowing why you're worried about him.
I can see why you're worried by Suz...I visited her page, (though haven't posted to her...yet). It's good to see she was around at the weekend.
Seems like you're carrying the weight of the whorld on your shoulders.

hi David isn't eating properly and is obsessed with his image. He is now a very angry bitter twisted shell of his former self and he hates me.
