Within a GuideML entry you are better off by using the GuideML tag for links, which goes like this (and doesn't work in conversations):

This, I think, is the start of what could be an excellent entry. Be aware of the '1st person rule'...try not to use it!
Why 'dandling',from where did the expression originate? Are there any other folk loric connections, either from America or other parts of the world? Linking to other sites, either on h2g2 or externally, can enhance an entry, but the basic inforamtion could be precis-ed by your good self, and referenced at the end of your article.
Have a look around other articles, using the search engine, and see if you might not be able to link to other Researcher's pieces.
Whilst there is nothing wrong with a brief article, this one I think has definite potential for expansion.

Yes - it was a quickie, testing the water as a new boy. but a serious purpose as it is a new subject (hard to find) that I am attracted to. I don't know the origin of the word, but let me go seek.......
