Bitter chocolate branches
Contrast with butter-gold
As I drive past I want to
Sit, soak up, behold
The beauty nature gives us
Just there if we choose to see
She doesnt force it 'pon us
But it's there for you, and me.

Hope your well Robyn
Pray tell how from the shadows where i stand
I may walk out and with the chatter stand
A friend with things to tell and jokes to share
Life without friendships light i cannot bear
Should i for invitations bide my time
And like the leaves of autumn fade and fall
Or should i take the horns of my own bull
And offer what i have at friendships door
Each year nature her carnival is free
I wish friends talk was more natural too me

Hmmm, some interesting thoughts going on here. Now if only my own brain were functioning ...

Hi Rev, erm ; well that was how i felt yestarday , l like Robyns autumnal poem. I'm sure your brain has never stopped functioning Rev , as for mine it needs a service ; sometimes i wish it would perform better , but as Robyn reminded me their is nothing wrong with my eyes , and autumn is a feast even if my grey matter may need an upgrade.
Hey i have just been reading an article off the front page where someone asked for some book reccommendations . What was reccommended was mainly fantasy and sci-fi; but what i would like too know is: can anyone write me some friendly ,(witty, kind) dialogue; or reccommend anything that would help me engage in it and keep from boring my friends or friends that could be with my sore head.

I got it
I find the best way to have things to talk about is to do things, think things... Who's to say what makes sense or is normal? I get laughed at for asking spiders not to bother me in my home or my car and for asking my car to behave... (I always make sure I praise too ) And you know what, just things like that are conversations in themselves!
A trick for not boring people? When in a conversation, try not to be the one who finishes it unless you have something concise and important to say, and if you're not sure about starting a conversation, dont! It's ok, you dont need to talk all the time. I usually find being rude and butting in on a conversation with a quick retort or response (much like on here) woth a smile then stepping back again and seeing how the conversation continues (i.e. do they immediately continue to include you or exlude you or are they indifferent?) is a good idea, keep an ear on other convos and just join in with what interests you, or have a good listen... It's probably 60% paying attention, 30% having something interesting to add, and 10% actually talking!

I do talk with my cats often enough. And you would almost think they understand half of what I'm saying. And yep, I often 'thank' my car for performing well and getting me to work or where-ever. Especially on those cold and vile Canadian winter mornings, when the girl just doesn't want to roll ...
And in straight-jackets, I take a size Medium.

Hi Rev
I have no car or cats but i have a couple of goldfish who , thinking
about it now i do have the occational word with ; but that is normally directly related to their voraciuos apetite , which seems to know no bounds, i cannot remember the last time i asked them how there day was or how they felt about anything.
As for straight jackets , well thats a thought ,i will have to get myself measured up- hey is it dicky bow or tie you wear with them i wonder?
Robyn, your lovely , i feel you could turn any frog into a prince-thanks.

*la la la*
i'm all now
Thank you!
I like your one word per line poem btw, it's lovely!
My straight jacket will need some work before I get stuck in it. It needs to be black , it should have spurious zips and buckles attached, and lots of pantera patches sewn onto it. Nobody said I cant be stylishly crazy!
Oh, make mine an XXL so I can get to sleep comfortably

Hi Robyn , wow you done the same thing to the straight jacket as the frog
(I think mine should be thermally insulated ,fur lined would be good)
