Two other major differences between Albert and Boehm systems:
1. The fingerings for F and F# above middle C are different.
2. The fingering for low E requires both little fingers on Albert system.

got a marching band clarinet, its brass silver plated .bought it in a silver shop for the going price of the silver.new pads and cork and it plays great.sounds like a sax kind of.

Got a very old rosewood Albert-System Clarinet with silver keywork... bought it at an antiques fayre for £43. Other than new pads and cork (and possibly a new mouthpiece) that are needed, it sounds gorgeous.

a local music store has or had a rosewood one.they want way too much money for it so its probobly still there.if it sounds as good as it looks someone might be playing it now.it is gorgeous.i tend to judge instraments by how easy it is to get a good recording
