I really like the way you've integrated the Collins definition with the article.

Great entry. Funny and informative. smiley - smiley

However, I was quite baffled when I couldn't find any reference to the third footnote..?!

Footnote #3 is a footnote to Footnote #2 smiley - smiley

Anyway, Footnote #1 is a double one.. It's fully enough to have the Footnote on its own, without the tag.

BTW: What's the superlative to 'well' ? smiley - winkeye

Well... I don't know about the superlative, but the comparative is obviously 'weller' as in 'weller, weller, weller, uh huh, uh huh, tell me more, tell me more, did you get very far?'

Today I linked up all the other footnotes, only to find out that I am not alltogether sure if I like the entry that way... Maybe you could give me some feedback. I was also rather frustrated when I found out that I don't really need to link up the footnotes, at all: apparently it is enough to click on the number of the footnote in the text and you are automatically transferred to the footnote. But still, to have some words in the text highlighted like a link might encourage people to click on the link to the footnote rather than scrolling all the way down.

Anyway, look at the latest change and tell me what you think of that

whelst ?

As to the footnotes: I'm not sure whether the tag is officially allowed in GuideML -- the tag definitely is. Using /both/ possibilities in the same place is like double stitching and perhaps only required in problem zones of trousers/pants.

But don't bother too much, as the sub-ed will surely figure that out.

wellissimo ?

This is a surprisingly good entry - I went to it a little uncertain - scared it would turn out like those entries on Zen (you know - the ones with no text?) - but it turned out to be informative, useful, factual, and presented in quite a good way... smiley - wow

Myself, I wouldn't use "girl-being" and suchlike - stick to male and female -- similarly I'd scrap the PC disclaimer - it is the case that the described scene does happen (not to me recently, but bleh) so you don't need to cover your bases so - it's overdefensive.

Don't forget well as in "well wicked"... (am I showing my age yet?)

Good stuff, like I say. Well put together, and it made me laugh. Keep it up! smiley - biggrin

Well, well, well. This entry has been seen by TPTB and has been judged worthy for inclusion in the irreverant guide to life, the universe, and everything, that we are pleased to call "The Guide".

It'll take a while to appear on the front page, though - in the mean time, if you have ANY questions, feel free to ask. I can't promise an answer if you want to know the meaning of life, though... smiley - winkeye

Congratulations! smiley - wow

Congratulations!
