This is a longer piece, about 2400 words, that summarizes all the important stuff from 1763 to 1783 yet bears no resemblance to that Mel Gibson movie.
If you critique it, please hurt me gently.

This is excellent. An exhaustive account. There a few typos in there, but nothing a quick check-through won't sort out (my favourite: "...Warned by midnight riders, only one of whom was Paul Revere...").
You might need to change a couple of the headings: "The War Its Ownself" and "When War Quits Being So Fun" are both ungrammatical.
As to the rest...very good indeed.

I concur. It's an excellent post. I couldn't even tell if the author was British or American, so that says something about the lack of bias in the article.
The only thing I can add is, I've read that by the end of the war, the British were tired of the whole thing too. If Washington hadn't won at Yorktown, the probable result would have been a negotiated peace settlement brokered by Catherine the Great.

This is, indeed, an excellent entry, but I believe that Jimi X and Colonel Sellers have been in contact with you about their University project 'USA - Birth of a Nation' - which already covers The American Revolution

They have indeed been in contact with me. They are going into considerable detail in this area. My intent was to submit more of a general overview, a thumbnail sketch of the war, if you will.
I have yet to hear whether I've gotten a specific rejection from them. In the mean time I'll be concentrating on zeroing in on finer details from the time period and submit them to the BOAN project.

Bucky, the Peer Review instructions have been recently amended to make it clear an article already covered by an on-going project (in the University) will not be recommended.
I guess it is potentially annoying but, on the bright side, you will get a co-credit on the BOAN project for any contribution you make.
Loony, trying to help
