Hi Batty,
Charlotte is a city of money and sports. That is what drives the culture. If you enjoy the arts, music, and ethnic fairs (i.e. Greek, Italian, Japanese,…) charlotte does not promote this as much and are harder to find and are not as big as they were in my home town (Nashville) and probably not as nice as they were in NY. But if you like sports, especially basketball, you’re in the right place.
If you have any questions, let me know and I’ll try to answer them.

Thanks MH. I'm not much of a sports fan but I do like ethnic and cultural events. Though right now it seems all I do is study..

Where are you studying? I work in the IT dept. at one of the Community colleges north of Charlotte.

Am getting some IT certifications at New Horizons. I've been at it since August at almost a class a week. I'm in a VB6 class now but frankly after so much in such a short time I think my brain is beginning to melt.. I have next week off class but I start a job and I want to get a MCP to two out of the way...
