I think I quite liked the film. Parts of it really pissed me off (like the American accents and the loss of some of the best lines) but there were some great new things to make up for it, like the So Long and Thanks for All the Fish song). And there were some new great lines, like "It won't affect me, I'm already a woman!" I really loved that one smiley - rofl

When they're approaching the planet that fires missiles at them (that turn into the whale and the bowl of pertunias) the old Arthur actor (Simon Jones?) appears on the screen. He's in 3-D.

Niwt (when you grace us with your presence of course) I went to the London meet-up in July. I went round the Hitchhiker's Exhibition with a few other researchers. And we got into the cherry-picker that Slartibartfast took Arthur for a ride in, through the "Factory Floor".smiley - wow

We also got our picture taken (cost muchosmiley - 2cents)smiley - yikes but 'Mazin' MadFiddler smiley - grovelBless 'im copied & emailed me his pic.smiley - wow

I have a link of it somewhere.

*scratches head*

*teases Niwt a bit longer*

Ooh, look wot I found!smiley - biggrin
