This Entry is about the so called "Ten Essentials" that every hiker in the wilderness should carry with him/her.

I think it would be a valuable addition to the Guide, as it gives some useful and maybe even lifesaving information. The Ten Essentials were not invented by me, they are more or less common knowledge of the outdoor fans (at least they should be!).

Peer Review guidelines are worth meeting - "enter the AXXXXX number and the name of your recommended entry into the 'Subject' line". By failing to put the number of your subject you've probably lost about half of the people who might otherwise comment, and, reduced the chances of getting into the guide to about a tenth.
That cut-and-pasted, this is an excellent entry. I'm surprised those 'survival bags' don't make it, though.
