That means it's been nearly a year since I wrote anything here. I wonder if anyone will notice this??

I've gone off and been ufaithful over in LiveJurnal. mainly cos I just got fed up to the bak teeth with the trolling, flaming and pettyness that was going on in HooToo. I've missed my freinds - of course I have. But not being ale to go into a thread without encountering come part of some war or other just put me off.

Then my computer started to play up, And then I ended up moving out of Dundee and into Glasgow - where my actual RL social life picked up and prevented me from spending evenings trawling through hootoo.

I knew you had gone to Live Journal as did Ivan I think. I did follow for a while, but like you RL takes over, and I have had to cut down the number of sites I visit.

I do wonder if we are on the same HooToo? I have not encountered any unpleasantness in all the years I have been here, but perhaps that is because at the merest sniff of it I unsubscribe!

Perhaps one day I will get to visit Ivan and the rest who have been unfaithful. I think it is good of us to take you back after such infidelity

Sounds as if your life is altogether better now!

Very pleased you are happy. Do write and give me your news. My computer has been playing up and I am going to have a new email address once I have changed my server - after getting a new computer.

why not come to the Autumn meet. You can stay with us. And gnoman is coming and his sister are coming from Ireland, and Aslo ZSF is coming with her son, and of course K. will be pushing me around.
It would be great to see you again. Don't forget that I am so old I could fall off my perch any moment!!. And you were just so kind to me the first and only meet I ever attended.I wish Websailor would also come another and we could have a really memorable get together........all breathing fire together!!

Hey Christiane -

Nice to hear from you. I have no wish to be 'left alone' as you put it, but Hootoo got a bit ranty for me for a while. That along with many other things going on in life mean I've been away from this place forever and a day.

I would have loved to come to the Autumn meet, but I am currently in work crisis and have no money and (as of the end of the month) no job. Have decided that science just isn't for me, and I'm going to try and find something in finance - which is what I have been doing for the Scottish Executive for the last six months.

This is the real news, I moved in with Psychochicken in March. As we haven't yet killed each other, nor in fact had much in the way of problems, this is a good thing and though things have had to change they haven't changed too much.

How did I miss this posting? I can only think that I must have gone away to Torquay on holiday just when you wrote it. I think I did reply to another posting of yours just after you and psycho set up house togewther.

I long to hear your news. I am seriously disillusioned at the moment. The various threads seem to be so critical and frankly quite defamatory. I only keep going because after all I live on my own and it was such a wonderful outlet for friendship and affection and suport.

I lost my second brother on December 18th. It was very sad. K. is doing really well. I get older and frankly more helpless every year. You will definitely have to come to my 80th birthday party - - providing I make it!!. 23rd May 2008 - Venue still to be decided but my children promise to come en masse from various parts of the globe. I also have a few loyal friends across the pond whom I hope will combine a trip to Europe with as trip to celebrate my 80 years. Mind you, I keep thinking that I am disappearing into the land of dementia. Sincerely hope that it is only the fact that the last few months have been very traumatic.

So you are going to be a financier. Rather you than me my Is pscho still workomg om tjhe art world? O al;ways hoped to buy one of his pictures. I remember one that I particularly wanted. and also the fact that I wanted to order a cartoon of my wheelchair and me/I_
