Hi Erkle, sounds like a good read to me smiley - smiley

The 'turning technology knowledge into religious cult' may have been inspired by Asimov's Foundation, in which a scientific foundation was set up on a planet at the end of the galaxy, to preserve man's knowledge while the rest of the galaxy was in civil war. This too became an esoteric semi-religious cult for a while.

You need a bit of structure to your article. The best advice I think I can give you is to look at a few other literary entries in the guide, and see if they inspire. They're all listed at C840.

Sci-fi/fantasy ones include:

A543034 - The 'His Dark Materials' Trilogy by Phillip Pullman
A696170 - 'The Wheel of Time' - the Books
A455898 - 'The Complete Robot' by Isaac Asimov

Many more in there though...

smiley - cheers Icy

Hello Erklehammerdrat.

This looks like an interesting book. I've read some other books by Zelazny (that is the correct way to spell his name) and they are very entertaining.

You could make this easier to read by putting extra line breaks between the paragraphs.

Hiya, Erkle:

Roger has had much deserved success. Your entry is pretty darn good, if a bit short. Still, if you haven't more to say about the book or its characters, it should be fine.

My concern is the part of the Summary that reas:
[This book is persuasive in its religious doctrines and ideology]

Do you really mean to imply that Roger's intent was to persuade or convert people to this theology, or could he have been merely using it as a canvas on which to paint his images? Does he say, perhaps in a Forward, that he professes these beliefs?

If the answer to these questions is 'no', perhaps it should read:
[He makes the religious doctrines and ideology seem very attractive]
or something like it.

Good luck with it! smiley - ok

Zelazny rocks my proverbials. I've read (and enjoyed) the Great Book of Amber (chronicals of the 10 stories) and one of my mate's username is Corwin. smiley - biggrin

That triviality being said; nice entry, makes the book rather exciting and such (which I sure it is), but yah, definitely could use organisation regardless of whether it's general overview or not.

Best luck on the revisions. smiley - ok
