just wondering when my entry quick fire questions will be ready. the recommended version with the sub ed can be found at A821026. i just thought i'd ask since u say u look into it after 4 weeks and it's been over 8 weeks since the sub ed got it.

The sub-ed hasn't posted since July 31st, so I think one of the editorial team need to give the entry to someone else, they should see it here, if they don't try posting to <./>Feedback-Editorial</.> (i think that's the right link), if nothing happens there email [email protected] and shout very loudly at them. One of those should work!

Yeah, they are unlikly to respond over the weekend. Only Jim and Mina seem to spend there "off duty" hours on h2g2 the whole time anyway. And they aren't editors. Good luck!

Ah. Understand now. Although I don't know when you're online but aside from Mina, I'm probably online out of office hours more than any other h2g2 Italic - most of the Italics don't go online on a weekend.

I am part of the Editorial team, just not part of the Guide team, which is where the confusion arises I think.

You're online on weekends, Jimster? Strange, I've never seen you around. Peta and Jim are online *way* to much, I was talking to them most of the weekend and rarely waited more than a couple of hours for a response. Do they have homes? Mina I see around sometimes, I'll keep an eye out for you, Jimster. It seems you weren't online when I posted that though, otherwise you would have solved the problem then. This is a very confusing situation so i'm going to go away! BYE!

I don't answer it no, but I read it, and send the emails on to the Really Important Italics who do all the important answering of questions. While I just run around, making tea, doing the photocopying and the filing, getting the sandwiches, running errands. Pah, who'd be an italic?

I'm guessing that was a rhetorical question, yes?

Ah, well, I've not been online much the last couple of weekends because I've been traveling and then playing host to friends who've stopped off in sunny London.

Plus, I've just lost my free account at home due to some bizarre situation with my ISp, who seem not to want their users to actually use their service much.
