I replied to your other post with some places to get involved and meet people. It is a big site and can seem quite daunting at times.
But everybody is friendly so just drop by people pages and say hello

I'm fairly new here as well. Just get stuck in with a topic that interests you (love or hate) and you'll find people of a similar mind.

I'm pretty new myself. Everyone is pretty nice on this site. Try all the things that you can find.
