You can call me TC Started conversation Apr 25, 2003
Somehow I'm going to find more time to spend on H2G2 - I still have so many plans for entries. All my drafts were wiped out when my son formatted the hard disk, but it's nothing that I can't re-write and re-research. I shall upload entries as I write them, and not wait until they are complete. That should help.
My most important work will still be the bombing of Dresden, but I have several I could still do out of my head. I nearly had one ready on the history of German pop music,
One of my happiest moments was when I got an e-mail from Sam (the Italic) to say how much he loved my "Clothes pegs and washing lines" entry, so perhaps I can find some more everyday subjects to write about from the housewife's angle. Whatever I'm doing, I'm always writing it for H2G2 in my mind.
And I'm going to buy a screen to put behind me when I'm on the computer here, because now I have my own PC it's situated under the stairs where everyone walks past. I can't write a single posting without being bawled at or bothered about something. I mean a standing screen to hide me from view - not a monitor or TV!!!
Anyway - - here's to the weekend!

Hi TC,
Great intentions. I've been very lax about writing for h2g2 recently. Too much gallivanting, I think! Look forward to seeing your entries.

Absolutely - and panic-ye-not because t is better to lose one hundred drafts than to submit the first draft for moderation

Ah.
The answer to this problem is cloning.
Should this ever come to be, I'd like to be the clone of me spending all her time on h2g2.
I've finished two entries I've been writing for ages, and they're in PeerReview but I have several others still in early stages.
So many interesting converstions going on though, hard to ignore when logged into h2g2...
Oh look, it's midnight, and I was going to have an early night.

I'll be looking forward to reading your Dresden entry - I can get my Coventry entry (A892190) linked to it.

Sho - employed again! Posted Apr 26, 2003
Oh I've sorely neglected h2g2 too, not that I ever wrote many entries, but still... I've been too busy writing other stuff.
Glad to hear you have your pc ok now, and a screen is a good idea. Hang a sign on it too.
Housewives stuff is great, my first edited entry was Rubber Gloves (domestic) and it was a lot of fun to write.
Good luck, and

Yes - it was the rubber gloves that inspired me to go ahead with clothes pegs. I did ways lyrical there - it was fun! Rather woman's magaziney stuff, but it went down well!

No matter, I knew what you meant.
Still over the rather gorgeous... ok, what's the word? I'm looking for the superlative that will describe the fabbo Mr. Hugh Jackman who knocks everyone into a cocked hat now, as far as I'm concerned (except the and the sweaty man...)
Oh that reminds me, we're all off swimming so I can ogle the guys down there.
