A Conversation for Don't Panic
editorial process question

I must be missing some of the finer points of the editorial process, because I am confuzzled:
I wrote an entry. I submitted it for approval. It has yet to show up as approved. Edits have been made to it by one of the sub-editors. My homepage no longer gives me access to editing the entry myself.
What has happened and what happens from this point? Thank you.

hello jd#4. Interesting name, by the way
Congratulations - your article will be accepted very soon! The reason that you can't edit it is because it has been edited by your sub-ed and will soon become an official guide entry in the form you now see it in. In other words, it is our of your hands now. It has to wait in line to join the guide, but it shouldn't be much longer now. If a few weeks go by and it still hasn't become official, ask the sub-ed to look into it for you.
Hope that helps!
