A Conversation for Don't Panic

Proof-reading and typos

I see that subeditors need to be good proof-readers.
I don't want to be one (I don't think I can stand to read the word "cool" outside a weather forecast again...) but do you want to know about a handful of typos on the "Don't Panic" page?
Regards, Carlton.

OK, I'll check back mid-week and see if you've spotted all the ones on my marked-up copy.
(Not that I'm competitive, or anything; just a vicarious perfectionist!)
Cheers.

Welcome back, Anonymouse; still stirring away? smiley - winkeye
*And* you've called your own bluff, since you claimed to have spotted the typos you could go and see if they're still there...
I find I can resist the temptation, myself, but then I've been amusing myself pointing out to http://www.mapquest.com where they have typos in street names near my home, so I'm not *really* slacking!
Cheers, Carlton.

I didn't mean to call a bluff... I was just too lazy to go back and read through all that again, so I guess I -am- slacking. smiley - winkeye
