Over my head.
This is just a suggestion
Would be nice if there was a way to mark certain old threads so they wouldn't show up in a listing ("click here to see all forum postings") unless you asked for a full listing... Or have them always listed at the -back- of the listing so they'd quit getting in the way of threads you're still working on.

We'll probably do it differently - allowing you to have a list of favourite forums and threads, and when you get bored by a thread, you can drop it off your favourites list.

That sounds like a good idea, too. Will it still be semi-automated? (IE: When you get into a conversation it adds that thread to your list of favourites, requiring manual intervention only in the dropping.)

Yep. If you did nothing, it should behave exactly as the current system does (with the extension that suddenly all your Guide Entries' forums would be flagged.
I think we'd also add a 'Read that' feature, so that you can mark all forums that you've read *with the time you read them* meaning it will show you accurately what's new, rather than you having to remember where you last read up to.
Basically, forums were neglected in the last release (deliberately so, for various reasons) so the next major improvement will probably contain lots of new features for the forums.

Ohhhh the disappointment...and I thought we were engaging in a conversation about Thomas Alva Edison. Or at least General Electric.

Sorry to disappoint you.
We're only talking about the nice, modern lightbulb (no socket, please ) that came on over my widdle haid.

Flourescent lighting is far superior for the type of lumination you are talking about, although I must admit that, with at least four minutes of research involved, the flourescent light bar is not adequate for any use as an epee in swordplay. However, it does appear to be quite ominous as long as it doesn't strike anything solid.

Really? I always assumed florescent light bars were frequented mostly by drunks and singles, not fencers. Now I could have told you a bar would be no good in swordplay. No matter how ominous the atmosphere is, not even Errol Flynn could sword fight whilst under the influnence of al-key-hol. Believe me, he tried. And he did end up striking somethink solid, but not with his sword.

Another thing I thought of whilst I was thinking a while back ...
I assume even if you drop the thread from your favourites list you'll still have an access to it should you want to look something up (I mean from a user/intro page, not the search)?
Key: Complain about this post
