'Aporia' is indeed the word although in an Irish accent it might sound like a toast on Paddy's Day
It's not in any of my smaller, pre-web, dictionaries but does appear in The Shorter Oxford English Dictionary so obviously I should/could/might have known. Anyhoo, tis a glorious new word for me so thank you.
Ahem ... but I did see it defined in an online dictionary as a noun, so why did she not say that he'd experienced /an/ aporia of doubt?
PS I've just made my first posting in T new and allegedly improved B so my recidivist tendency has surfaced again, doh.
