Hi Mr. Frisky!

Welcome to h2g2.com!
You are most likely new here and find the site to be a bit huge and hard to get a handle on. I wear a lot of different hats around the site, but one of my favourites is that of an ACE (Assistant Community Editor). The ACEs are a volunteer group which the site has asked to go around and greet newcomers and steer them toward a few of the places we feel should be highlighted.
This site is designed to become an interactive and updatable Guide to Life, the Universe and Everything (much like the
fictional Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in Douglas Adams' books), the big difference is we're only seeking entries about good old planet Earth and its environs.
One of the first things you'll want to do as a new Researcher is to check out the writing guidelines at http://www.h2g2.com/Writing-Guidelines These contain a wealth of ideas to get started writing Guide Entries of your very own.
Browsing the Edited Guide with the Search Engine can also be fun. I've been here for over a year and still do it from time to time - it's amazing what things people have written. One of my favourites is an amusing entry called "How To Pick Up A Porcupine - A Personal Perspective" at http://www.h2g2.com/A306361
Anyway, I hope that long rambling monologue was helpful! If you've got any questions, feel free to stop by my Personal Space at http://www.h2g2.com/U53353 and leave a message.
Hope to see you around the Guide soon! And welcome!!

Hi there, I'm Tweetie, your friendly local Guardian Angel :-) (ok, yeah I'm an ACE too- but Jimi's taken care of that, so I'm here in my GA form ;-)) The GAs are a voluntary (entirely unofficial) group of voluteers who help newcomers find their feet. This place can be pretty confusing at first :-) Anyway, here are some more links to help you out: http://www.h2g2.com/A344756 - the Quick Reference Guide http://www.h2g2.com/A352667- the Angels’ Guide for Newcomers http://www.h2g2.com/F617?thread=55960 - the Newcomer’s Welcome http://www.h2g2.com/A270325 - Colonel Seller’s Overwhelmingly Huge Guide to h2g2 Clubs Have fun exploring, and feel free to ask any questions :-)

I'm stuck here in England, and many of my waking hours are spent trying to get hold of those darned new episodes before they're all spoiled.
I own the box sets for seasons 1-3 (just ordered 4.1, can't afford ANGEL 1.1 right now) and am greatly disappointed by C4's cuts (I don't have Sky or anything).
I have seen most of season four though (and enjoyed it), so no need to be careful when referring to it.

Brilliant
Well, I have Sky, although I have to put up with my father's whining in order to watch the shows...
All box sets present and accounted for And, despite the fact that my father whinges about the shows, he is a wonderful man and buys them for me and my (equally obsessed) sister.

Although I think I'm gonna have to handle the DVDs on my own...

Those DVDs look quite impressive.
Any idea what Spike and Drusilla are doing on 3.2?

Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Oct 22, 2000
Ummm, could be something to do with the designers not actually being fans of the show in any way, shape or form...
Nope, not a clue. By rights, it should've been Oz on there.

Actually, when I first saw it, I thought it was probably Faith and the Mayor - and to be honest I believe it should have been those two.
I've never been a great fan of Oz. In my opinion, he was a minor character that was best in the background - he was never regular material. Perhaps they should have done something more with him, but there was so much going on around him anyway...
So where's the best place on here for Buffy talk?
Hi Mr. Frisky!
Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Oct 23, 2000
Awww, I always loved Oz. But yes, they should've done something more with him... I can kinda understand why Seth left. You might be right- Faith and the Mayor was absolutely wonderful. Such a weird, incredible pairing, that brought so much to the show. Shame they had to kill him off... Try http://www.h2g2.com/F34252?thread=40296&latest=1 Unfortunately, there isn't an official place- you have to search around a little. I wonder- do you ever post at the Bronze on the official site?
