I NEED SLEEP...

Yay! I'm finally back online... This new reregistering thing's really confused me but I've got it sorted now...
Anyways, you need sleep... Here are lots of tips...
1) Get up earlier in the morning to see if this helps
2) Take some exercise during the day. DO NOT take any just before going to bed - it can make it difficult to sleep
3) DON'T take naps
4) DON'T have a large meal just before bed as it could leave you feeling uncomfortable but don't go to bed hungry.
5) DON'T drink coffee, tea or cola of an evening. DON'T drink alcohol to try and help you sleep either.
6) Get your mind off problems by reading before trying to sleep.
7) Go to bed at a regular time so as to develop a natural rhythm.
8) Have a warm milky drink just before going to bed.
9) Adjust heating/ventilation so that the room isn't too hot or too cold.
10) DON'T smoke just before you go to bed as nicotine is a stimulant.
11) Sexual intercourse just before you go to sleep can help wind you down.
12) Do relaxation exercises before trying to sleep.
13) If you can't get to sleep or wake in the middle of the night, DON'T lie in bed thinking. Do something. Read a book or watch TV, etc.
14) Make sure your bed is comfortable.
Obviously not all of those points will apply to you but some people may find them useful.
I've found that my sleep's improved since not taking naps and the milky drink helps. As does the adjusting of heating and making your bed more comfortable. I'd also recommend finding a decent, comfortable position to sleep in as this obviously helps. I prefer to sleep on my tummy but it may vary from person to person.
Anyway, I hope that's helped.

That was a joke, by the way. I realise some people cannot detect them so I just thought I would point it out.

What would be wrong with sleeping on your tummy?

Call me paranoid, but you don't also go by the name of Mister frisky or Huxley do you?

I just happened to pick up on the fact that Mister Odie, Man's Best Friend has homosexual tendencies and found it funny that he likes to sleep on his tummy. Think about it.
On that note, it may be a good point to point out that I have nothing agaist gay people and if I have offended Mister Odie then I apologise in advance.

Scaroth, I really don't mind if people make light-hearted jokes concerning my sexuality so long as they don't mean any harm by it (and it's obviously a joke), so you needn't apologise as it's reasonably clear that you don't...

I am glad to see some people have a sense of humour around here.
And no, I do not answer by the names of "Mister Friskey" or "Huxley". My real everyday name is Andrew, although I feel my Scaroth persona sits better in this H2G2 world.

Sorry you just sounded scarily like someone we know.

Fair enough, I suppose. I am interested in your use of the word "we", although I presume you were referring to Mister Odie and yourself. That would make more sense as I did come across a Mister Frisky via a link on Mister Odie's page and I think I posted something. And why are there so many Misters? Get proper names.
