As you go round meeting people they will get to know you & what you are interested in
Another good way to find like-minded people is to write a Guide Entry, then submit it to the Guide, and other Researchers will read it & comment on it. A great way to make new friends!

Yes, I'm enjoying reading the new edited articles. I'm kind of wishing I was involved in more conversations, but I suppose if I posted more to forums, I'd get more replies I've got exams next week so I've been doing more studying than posting. Which is probably a good thing as far as my course is concerned.

Still, it's very nice to have people pop by my page and say hi!

I've been watching a LOT of the Powerpuff girls lately. Hence the title. And thank you.

Re: the volunteer organisations, are you talking about something like the guardian angels?

I'm trying not to make too much of a time commitment here, because I've just managed to un-addict myself from online roleplaying. It's a VERY time consuming hobby! I've promised myself that I'll pay more attention to my real life and family, so I'm not sure that I'm ready to join many of the organisations.

I wish you the best of luck becoming an ACE though!

The organizations here are all voluntary, the ACES are official, the Guardian Angels are unofficial, neither require full-time commitment.
You just do what you can, when you can!
I only suggested it as a way for you to meet more people.

Well maybe when my exams are over. It does sound like an awfully good way to meet people.

oh it is!
Meeting newcomers and greeting them is very worthwhile.
You can do as much or as little as you want to, there's no commitment.
I'm certainly having fun here, but Real Life comes first!

Powerpuff Girls is a great show.

I rather like it

My son loves the power-puff girls...
and it's a much better show than Ed, Edd & Eddyand Two Stupid Dogs
Personally I prefer Dexter's Laboratory and the Animaniacs.
From my childhood, I was madly in love with Pepe Le Pew; I couldn't understand why everyone ran away from him. I thought he was gorgeous & sexy with a delicious french accent {I still do...}

I love Dexter's lab too! I've got a Dexter's Lab theme on my desktop. And the Animaniacs rock! My favourite Animaniacs episode so far amongst the one I've seen is "HMS Wacko".

My kids love them all, although I must admit to never having sat down to watch either of Ed, Edd and Eddy or Two Stupid Dogs.

And Pepe Le Pew, well, I have to agree that he's just the heart-throb of cartoons.
