h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I walked out of h2g2 in a huff more than a month ago, but I missed the place so much that I couldn't keep away.

I'm not going to talk about what annoyed me. Instead I'm stating here as a reminder to myself what I'm going to do to prevent myself from getting cross again:

1. I'm not going to point out anything wrong with the site, no matter how obvious it is, unless I'm specifically asked to.

2. I'm not going to explain any of the features of the site to anyone unless I'm asked to.

3. If things are less than perfect, I'm going to accept that as the way things are.

That should do it.

I believe I understand why you ed. It's a shame what was happening, but it is what it is. I've also made a choice to just bite my tongue regarding certain aspects of the site. I don't like it, but there is more that I like about the site than not. I'm sure you feel the same or you wouldn't have returned.

Anyway, welcome back.

You know... the 'hoover' thing, hadn't honestly occured to me... Perhaps hootoo is more like a magnet, 'sucking us' back to it... rahter than a hoover (getting onto dodgy symaly err or analagy lines I thinks...)
