I haven't had a chance to write titles on any of them yet, but most of them are obvious. They're all taken either in Manhattan or Tuckahoe, except for a couple on the Staten Island Ferry.

Well, the delis here in Tullamore may not have that much choice, but they do have staff who call the client "love", "darling", and even, once, "honey".

Thanks Gnomon, I´ve enjoyed a lot reading you and watching your photos. It´s so good to watch you and your family. You all look so happy, cheerful, healthy... Congratulation. You are a fortunate man.
My best friend is in NY now and I´ve been thinking about her at the same time I watched the photos. I´m a bit too emotionated.

You can call me TC Posted Nov 11, 2007
I sent my son a link to this thread while he was in NY. He said there is a warning about the red biro on the immigration forms - perhaps he got a different form in Frankfurt.
He did much the same programme with his girlfriend as you while over there and came back with similar positive impressions and enthusiasm.
Despite being on a fairly tight student's budget (although at least the dollar/Euro exchange rate is in our favour at the moment), he ate quite well and they managed to hire a car and spend some memorable days on the coast and in various National Parks. I'm looking forward to seeing his photos - maybe he'll post a resumé on his site.
Thank you for letting us share your holiday and for describing everything so well.
