You absolutly sure you want the festive spirit back? I've managed without too much of it for a few years, in fact, the only spirit I'll be indulging in this Christmas is probably vodka well, perhaps vodka and wisky well, the only festive spirits I'll be involved with this Christmas will be vodka and wisky and perhaps a little brandy well, maybe a bit of run possibly a little gin well the ONLY Christmas spirits I'll be seen with this Christmas will be vodka, wisky, brandy, rum, gin, teikalla, pernod, ozzo, well, maybe

No Martini though? Very restrained
I definitely want my Christmas spirit back, I'm normally so excited by this time of year but now I'm just depressed

Well, i do live by the old adage:
|"moderation in everything" no, that isn't true; I forgot the Martini! bod over Christmas : especially going back to my dads; leaving this Monday coming; so have to visit ALL the pubs I ever regularly go to when back home, and say hello to all the regulars in each, and the barmen and women, and of course the landlords and landlady's then, in the middle of all the Normal drinking haunts, I'll be forced to go out christmas eve; and struggle to find anywhere suitibably miserable and full of old farts for me to want to go there and, of course, shortly after is new year's eve

You can get most fo those in one big bottle now 2legs, it's called Martini Spirito or something, it had martini, vodka errmm... potentially rum and archers too but I could have invented those...

wqell I've been at uni for quite a few years, and never had a end of term party, ever actually, I'm now on my third degree, and I've not ever made it along ot my own graduations before : come over to lowestoft for christmas; its bluddy horrible but it has plenty of pubs and pine needles: I've done two presents so far : and I've sent off one christmas card. and i have, pretty-much included all the cards and presents in that list that I'll do this year

I'm sitting here making a Christmas tape for the car and it's cheered me up immensely. It's a whole year since I last heard the Pet Shop Boys' "It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas".

We could take the Hanson Christmas album out and burn it? That would make you feel better.
Well, it would make me feel better...

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Dec 18, 2002

*thinks*
Actually, I sent you my phone number, didn't I, 'bell? Wanna call either this weekend or Christmas day? (I've info to make the call 5p a minute from a landline that I can't remember if I've sent you or not...) Then you could judge my 'singing' for yourself (though I do OK on carols, because I actually know the words! Though I'll have to do Teh 12 Days of Christmas because I've not had a chance to torture anyone with it properly since I lost my mom...)

If you want to get back into the Christmas spirit, don't read the poems in the post, especially not the Competition winning one
Doesn't Peregrin have "It's Christmas In Heaven" by Monty Python for you to listen to?
