clzoomer- a bit woobly

smiley - erm It's a native word (Westcoast Canadian Salish or Chinook) and not what you might think. It is used by lots of locals (especially those special few who were born here as I was) to describe all things large and good. *Chuck* is the ocean and *Skookumchuck* is big, good, nice, well worth it's existance. So variously it is used to describe large turbulent waters, the ocean at it's best, or just anything that is large and/or exceptional. There are several locations named after it, notably a town here. http://www.britishcolumbia.com/regions/towns/?townID=3517

Personally, I have always thought that H2G2 was Skookumchuck. btw, don't make the classic mistake of saying *very* or *extra* skookumchuck, it can't be qualified as being any better than it is!

smiley - cheers
