In case you're asking, L-space is Terry Pratchett's idea of where really advanced librarians and bookshop owners are allowed to roam, connecting all places where a large enough number of books is stored to distort space-time. It's why you occasionally run into a bookshop owner who wears carpet slippers to work and hangs out that sign 'Back in 20 minutes'. In *his* dimension, that's the normal way to do business!
