'The Greater Crested Cocnout is among the more prized of the species, being an exotic variant of the Lesser Crested Cocnout, and lacking the distinctive crest that so distinguishes the Common Crested Cocnout...'
'An unusual derivation of Capoiera, the South American martial art, Cocnout is so named because it mimics the actions and movements performed by monkeys collecting the fruit of the coconut tree...'

I have heard, from the tribesmen of the ca ca ca ca woo woo woo tribe, the the greater crested coconut will attack you with its hard crest if provoked. The crest of the common crested is quite soft and will not hurt if attacked by one but you still know you are not wanted, as you said the lesser crested has no crest, the reasons for this are in a local myth, and so doesn't attack you, it just lets free its ear piercing squark. They are all solitary beings and so do not congregate in a bunch, and due to their defensiveness they are also not lovely so my knowledge of them is limited

I'd say that knowledge was very expansive, Quixotic!
I certainly know more now about the greater crested coconut and the common cocnout than I ever knew before!
I'll certainly take my ear-plugs if ever I visit their stamping grounds.

Well, here goes anyway. The Ca ca ca ca woo woo woo tribes story of the crested coconuts.
When God created the world he created two kinds of life to inhabit it, the wise and the foolish. Wise life lived in groups, like ants, wolves grapes and corn. Foolish life lived a solitary life, such as tigers and spiders. God thought of both groups as equal as the foolish could not be thought bad because of their foolishness as they were created with it, it was not their fault, and the wise were not thought good because of their wisdom as they were created with it, it was not something they earned. Despite this, however, God decreed that if any wise life form turned foolish, it would be cursed, and if any foolish life form turned wise the it would be blessed. One fool that turned wise was the Lion which God made king of the jungle, wise life forms that turned foolish, and therefore got cursed, was a group of three coconuts. the first coconut stopped living in a bunch and went to live on his own, for this God gave it a big, hard, red crest that looked like the flames of hell,to show all life what would happen if they too turned foolish. The second and third coconuts heeded this warning and didn't become as foolish, recieving only a floopy red crest and red dot respectively.
The moral of this story? God cretaed man with free will, to choose wisdom or foolishness, choose wisdom as even if the good die young and the evil are sucessful, it is better to be a wise lion for one second, than a vicious, foolish crested coconut for a thousand years
