What puzzles me is how on earth people can claim the Holocaust didn't happen.

I mean, if every physical shred of evidence is taken away - no survivors, no gas chambers, no paper records - then we're still left with the circumstantial evidence.

This is simply that in 1939, there were six million European Jews more than there were in 1945. And, for that matter, four million other damned people who ended up going through the death camps - Gipsies, gays, left-wingers, dissidents, Jehovah's witnesses, et c.

Give me a convincing explanation as to where these ten million people dissappeared to in six years. A mass abduction by aliens, perhaps?

And please don't say they were civilian casualties of war: this doesn't stack up. Most countries were pretty thorough at calculating their death tolls afterwards and the stats for civilian deaths, as opposed to deliberately murdered, are under seperate headings?

I've never come accross holocaust denial literature before - what arguments do they use to deny the blind bleeding obvious, a genocide their own leaders and political idols were open and upfront about? Hitler said it loud and clear enough times in his speeches and writings - the anhilation and total destruction of the Jewish race.

It'd be interesting to see how they jsutify their beliefs.
