"Right, what do I do? Well erm, in my current position (poised behind his computer flirting with Seven, not a lot) I suppose you could call me a consultant. I work for Shell Gabon which is an oil company, *turns sideways and spits in his trash can* no, no, don't stop reading, I am actually very GREEN. Shell Gabon is the first Oil Company in Africa to gain ISO-14001 accreditation, which is the Environmental Certification. This means that we are achieving our targets on emmisions of noxious gasses, in fact we are well ahead of making improvements that will ensure we meet our 2001 target and if my recommendations are approved, will beat it hands down. I used to be a Commissioning Engineer mainly for rotating equipment, turbines, compressors, pump's etc. and have been around the Oil business for a lot of years. My main area of operation now is looking at the big picture and recommending solutions for better ways of doing things.
Like making more money, with less waste and less environmental impact. The place I am working is in the middle of the jungle and there is a tropical rainstorm going on as I type. Have to be a bit careful here as the lightning is awesome. Had a great night in the bar last night after conversing with you and Crystal Butterfly, and the Halloween Party at Crossed Purposes is going great.
