I just updated my intro to make it more catchy, and to announce my first project, which I should be addressing next weekend. Please feel free to look again!

A question to you: the preferences button leads to a page with some minor personal data. Fine. Upon subscribing I didn't enter a nickname, but did enter a password. A little later I clicked on it again to enter my nickname. The password field contained a much longer row of asterisks than the password I had entered before. So I entered it again. What's up with that?

I saw one member who seems to have become an ACE after one day of membership. So, can you point me to a page where the concept of ACE's is explained?
