Sorry about that tab, my ears seem to be playing up. Long time no chat too....been busy?
:-P
tabatha Posted Oct 31, 2000
Yep, flat out. Started my new job on Monday, working 8am until about 5:30 or 6... and exhausted when I get home...
got a few early minutes today though so managed to fit in a quick afternoon nap and am rejuvenated...
Job is great, everyone seems to be really nice and very friendly so far. Steep learning curve though..
Hows things with you? busy?

Hello, tab!!
Exhausting but almost tolerable work is the good work!!!
My aunt told me the other day that all my working and going to school will keep me young... so how come I feel old!?? :-p

Busy.....hmmmm.......I almost remember what that word means.........Actually, I'm just popping on briefly, much study to be done, exam tomorrow....but I'll be on tonight of course.......It sounds like you're enjoying your first few days at least, and not just being a gopher...
Dragonfly, how could you possibly feel old? You seem to be the very essence of bustle and vitality around this place...

Hi All.. just a quick log on log off for me, just to make sure that the fridge is stocked and there's enough food to go 'round (when the king gets out of that exam he's bound to be hungry!!)
Work is still cool... I might have even helped someone get pregnant today (have to wait 16 days before ill know) I didnt actually do the fertilisation step of the process, but i prepared some of the bits and i watched the transfer of the embryos - how cool is that!!
no time for a coffee im afraid, but im glad to see that you are all still here and making yourselves at home!!.. Havent seen mr muddle around these parts lately?..does he still exist?
must get some sleep

*Returns, ravenous after his exam*
No time to talk, must cook......
*cooks up a ridiculously enormous amount of pasta, stir fry beef in a black bean sauce, three chocolate mud-cakes and roughly 1000 profiteroles. Puts the cakes and profiteroles in the fridge and carries the rest to the table, along with plates, knives and forks*
Okay, who's hungry?
:-P
King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 2, 2000
Afterning, Dragonfly! Feel free to dig in, I left the rest in the fridge cause I wasn't sure if anyone was awake....

Well, certainly, if I celebrate the great food, and dance enough in excitement over it, I shouldn't gain that much weight...
Thank you!!!

King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 2, 2000
Certainly....I, however, will recline in my beanbag once more....
*slumps (regally) into his beanbag*

::dances around(quietly, so everyone can sleep), and fluffs up the empty bean bags::
:-P
King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 2, 2000
*mixes some stir fry beef with a bit of pasta and starts eating*
:-P
tabatha Posted Nov 2, 2000
*wanders in from another long day at work and falls exhausted into a beanbag*....
uh oh, I sat down before i could get anything out of the fridge
*contemplates standing up but decides against it.. relaxes back into chair to wait for someone else to go to the fridge*
next time anyone is at the fridge can they get me some of that yummy pasta stuff? thanks - oh and could they heat it up for me too? thanks.
*looks at The king stuffing his face* so how was the exam Cthulhu?
