::brigs tab the beef pasta stuff::
::It's so hot that the stem opens all her pores::
OOOOOooo....
::is so relaxed that she is hardly able to hand the plate over to tab before she herself collapses into a newly fluffed bean bag::

(Doesn't like the results she sees after typing posts when she is really tired)...
Well, I only missed four points on my Spanish quiz, so I am happy!!!
::looks to the king, awaiting similar good news::
::grabs a plate for herself::

*manages to look up from his food, which he has just finished*
Soory about that, but when I start eating...
The exam went okay, not as well as I'd hoped, but it's one of those obscure types of exams where you can get 125/100...they mark your best 4 out of 5 questions, so I'm hoping I went really well on the other four......I have two left, Greek Philosophy and Descartes, both next week....

::nods::
Although...
Now that I think on it...
I don't think they cared much for the muses!!! Well!!!

::the name has the connotations of a rebellious child's name::
OOooo....
Well, Gallileo proved he lied about some astronomical theory he composed!!! So there!!!
:-P
King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 6, 2000
Hey, I'm just studying the guy, not making him my idol.......but "lie" is probably a bit harsh, they just didn't know some of what we now think we know....
:-P
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Nov 6, 2000
Well, if he had been in contact with Urania, the Muse of Astronomy, he wouldn't have made such a blunder!!! He would've been inspired to know more!!!
Alas, Urania helped get Gallileo's name in the history books instead... Aristotle could've had a myriad of monopolies on the "I thought of it first" front, but no...
I do believe I am out of lemonade...
Shall I see if our darling tab has some raspberry flavored lemonade I might make for "everyone"!??
:-P
tabatha Posted Nov 7, 2000
I dont think there is any rasberrry flavoured lemonade, but there is some rasberry cordial which you can add to your lemonade to make rasberry flavoured lemonade (add some vodka and you've got yourself a 'firetruck')
bit early in the day for Vodka thought methinks....
although it is melbourne cup day which means that anything goes....

...and for those of us in America...
I don't allow myself to have liquor...
::makes plain lemonade::
But everyone else can flavor away if they so choose!!!
::finishes making the drink::
There we are... who would like a glass!??
:-P
tabatha Posted Nov 7, 2000
Ooo yes please.. just plain rasberry for me thanks...

I handed in my last assignment yesterday and the feeling was great!!
Planning anything for the summer break? - im really going to miss that 3 month holiday!!!
:-P
Dragonfly. "A poet can survive everything but a misprint"-- Oscar Wilde Posted Nov 7, 2000
::give tab her raspberry lemonade::
::brags:: I got a 95% on my last history test, and close to the same on my last quiz in Spanish...
:-P
King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 7, 2000
Might I have a glass also, Dragonfly? I'm just popping in between exams...final one today, on Rene Descartes..."I drink therefore I am".......Aahh, the long holiday....I'm going up to Queensland to see my dad for a couple of weeks from next Tuesday.....and I'm housesitting (probably) my sister's house down Koo wee rup way for a couple of weeks after Christmas, and other than that....probably just w*rking when I can - I work casual, so I'm hoping to get more shifts whilst not at uni......and I might be able to get some writing done.....hopefully....

::hands a raspberry lemonade to the king::
::Admires its ever-so-purdy color::
:-P
tabatha Posted Nov 8, 2000
Sounds like good holiday plans to me. I am lucky in that my place of work closes down for 2 weeks over christmas so I get that time off which will be a nice chance to get home and spend some time with the folks.
Guess you are finally finished exams now - hope they all went well...
:-P
King Cthulhu of Balwyniti Posted Nov 8, 2000
