OK, call me a if ya will but I run my own SMTP server, which for no apparent reason stopped working, half an of playing wiv the PC still no luck
.
Reboot the machine & hey presto starts working no problem .. computers

Hmm, just figured out though, If I did adopt the Amish ways, I'd not be able to use H2G2 Or my singing gerbil

I had my own SMTP server once... it died when NTL complained, so now I just run Apatch Web server from my powerbook G4.

I've seen singing hamsters, but I haven't run across any singing gerbils. I want one now!
Someone ran across a singing the other day ... at least, I *think* it was a cat. Let me just say that he was flatter than a mashed potato sandwich in the middle of the road.
Rebooting is the first line of defense in fixing *any* computer's brain fart. If that doesn't wo*k, , it's busted good. Time to bring out the sledgehammer.
