I just drew a complete fretboard diagram for guitar and then circled all the notes from the A Minor Pentatonic entirely from memory without having access to a guitar at all.
I am very pleased with myself. These lessons are actually starting to stick.

Nice work! 
My guitar teacher taught me the pattern for a blues scale (
) instead of a pentatonic, which was 20 years ago now 
but it's still the pattern my fingers fall into whenever I pick up a guitar.

Yay! The blues is another one of those must-have scales for guitarists, I think. So much modern music is born from the blues it's the linchpin for everything.
