Hello,
Been thinking about the term "bootleg." just wondering if anyone knows the origin of this word in the musical sense and how you would define it.
It's probably in the dictionary but I was wondering if the term is used more loosely today.

The origin isn't musical though. It's about hiding illegal goods.
