i have the strings for the classic guitar

6 E String silver or copper plated 043inch 1.09mm
5 A String silver or copper plated 035inch 0.89mm
4 D String silver or copper plated 030inch 0.76mm
3 G String crystal nylon 040inch 1.02mm
2 B String crystal nylon 032inch 0.81mm
1 E String crystal nylon 028inch 0.71mm

but dose any one know the size for electric and steel string guitar

Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo)

They vary. I use 10s on the electric wgich range from 0.10 to 0.42 (I think) but there are many different gauges.

Stop right there, Intern!

The idea of a Fleamarket rescue is that you continue and finish the Entry that already partly exists. So you'd take 'Guitar Songs for Beginners', finish adding the chords and a few basic songs to it - plus anything else you think is appropriate.

What you seem to be doing is starting a new Entry all about guitars, which is fine - BUT everything you are writing already exists in the EG in some form. Do a search on guitars http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/Search?searchstring=guitar&dosearch=Search&searchtype=goosearch and you'll see what I mean.
