Mac user musos needed!

Hi
Wonder if anyone knows anything about this. I found this Griffin Imic gadget on the apple website.

I was looking for a kind of adapter so I could connect a piano keyboard with midi cables to my mac, but my mac doesn't have an input jack for midi, (unless you would connect via headphone jack?) so I need something that goes from midi to usb. Does anyone know if this gadget will work?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
