Any Free fans wanna help with an entry on the band?

Hi.
Thought I'd pop by and see if I can mobilise some support for a guide entry idea.
There are entries in the guide for Cream, Eric Clapton, Lep Zep, Deep Purple and the like, but none for Free. I would like to write one, but I'm not sure I can do it on my own. Is there anyone who'd be interested in helping out? We can throw around some ideas about what to include and if anyone has snippets of information they can add, please let me know, as there appears to be a lot of conflicting information about the band about.
For instance, would be grateful if anyone can clarify if the story below is true. I took the info from allrightnow.com. Admittedly the site's not official, its a fan site, but its pretty comprehensive. I read somewhere that Paul Rodgers traveled down from Middlesborough in a van with his existing band, and they almost went back cos things didn’t go too well. it was only luck that he met up with Kossoff and Kirke and stayed down in London.
'While scouting for a vocalist to front their new band, Kossoff and Kirke visited the Fickle Pickle, an R&B club in London's Finsbury Park. It was here that the two first heard Paul Rodgers, a young vocalist then performing with Brown Sugar. Kirke and Kossoff were immediately impressed with Rodgers expressive voice and charismatic style, and recruited him for their group. "Paul owed a great deal to Otis Redding," recalls Kirke, "his voice had power and presence. We knew that he was - and still is - unique."'
I just thought now would be a good time to compile an entry, what with Paul Rodgers touring again (with Queen).
thanks
Kaz
