Hello Colin May, my father was also in TA 92nd Regt He too went too India, at Dulali, thence to Basra, they took the 25 pounder field guns
Quads, and limbers, and drove to Kirkuk.then they followed the oil pipelineto Syria ending up in North Africa just in time for El Alamein. Later they were on Husky the invasion of Sicily, and with the US 5th Army under Gen Mark Clark. Subsequently involved in invasion of Anzio
and were at beach head losing a lot of men, when under fire.After the fall of Anzio my father Len White L/sgt B battery, was posted to 113th regt TA . He was at Belsen when the Guards dicovered the Cocentration camp. His war ended at Lubeck after shaking hands with the Russians on
the river Elbe.I was aged 8 when my father came home, he told me most of the activity of the regts he was in. He was 80 when he passed on in
1993. He always spoke kindly of the men in the old Ninety Second.
