Robert Redford was Sundance, but I am pretty certain it was Butch (possibly dancing with Sundance's bird) dancing to this song, have an image of him on a bike and the music playing in my brain...
Long time since I have seen the film though.

Still dunno which was which, but Kelli's right, it was Paul Newman on the bike while this song was playing.

Have to confess that this is one of my favourite films. Paul Newman defiantly played Butch Cassidy, and yes he was the one on the bike clowning around with the Sundance Kid's 'bird (played by Robert Redford)'.
Just to be picky though I don't think the bike tricks could really be called dancing!

They were still impressive tricks though. I remember trying to copy some of them on my BMX and falling off spectacularly.
I didn't have a pretty girl in a nice frock sitting on my handlebars either *sob*
Still a great film and a very good song nonetheless.

Having come off my bike years ago while trying to stand on the saddle, and ending up in a hedge full of brambles attempting replicate some of them, I agree they are impressive; the tricks that is.
It hasn't been on for a while though…..ah well, perhaps soon * starts waiting hopefully *

wait what about Travis - why does it always rain on me?

You can call me TC Posted Aug 16, 2002
The question was "Who danced to..." Does Travis dance?
At least it wasn't Sasha Distel, who was/is ugly and probably can't dance either.

Well done Danny... indeed the answer me wanted was Gene Kelly... ~grin~... the song was Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head... as just about everyone realised... sorry.. Butch Cassidy didn't dance to it.. though he did perform some pretty great stunts.

Did Gene Kelly dance to Raindrops keep falling on my head then? thought he was more famous for dancing to 'Singing in the Rain'

I don't want to win a point unfairly, you know... (OK, so I do, but I can't admit that ) I thought Gene Kelly was wrong, and that I hadn't read the question well enough
