All of Dublin seems to be predicting a Leinster championship win (for Dublin, natch) this Sunday...is this the year that Dublin make the really huge population disparity work in it's favour and stop being the whipping boys of Leinster?
(Personally I don't think it's as sure a thing as some seem to think...)

..and yet it was.
Now only Armargh (semi final) and Kerry (final) stand between Dublin and Sam Maguire..

Commiseration to all Dubs but, being a culchie, I'm actually glad Dublin lost to Armagh. Now I no longer have to face the prospect of a Kerry - Dublin final and the inevitable dilemma of which one I hate less!
(I only hate Dublin in sport obviously. I used to live there and actually love the city)

I suppose I should add that I'm from Clare and we're in the other final this weekend. Can't wait to take my seat in Croke Park and shout myself hoarse for 70 minutes.

As a Sligo fan by proxy, I'm also glad that Dublin aren't in the final...

I'm so glad someone else has joined this thread. I was beginning to get a little worried about you talking to yourself for months on end

Nothing wrong with talking to yourself. It only becomes a problem if you start answering back!

..or if you take up a contrary position and start arguing with yourself. That's mad. Or maybe it isn't

Yeah I'm also a fan of GAA and I too support Dublin.
So yeah it was a bummer that the Dubs lost to Armagh..
Key: Complain about this post
