Yeah... I know that the language evolves and now "less" and "fewer" are basically interchangeable, and I can appreciate Stephen Fry's point in this monologue on Language.

No, no, no. Turning nouns into verbs is still bang out of order as far as I'm concerned. *AHEM* U147203

And changing language just for the sake of it will always be something I can't abide or support, even though Shakespeare did so much of that, apparently. If he came along today and did what he did with language he'd be derided as a pretentious hipster.
