Nine glorious days of not having to deal with the numpties, bellends and nobheads who I share the buses with. And I'm including the drivers in that number. I'm going to be itching to make some when I get back though.

Ahem! shouldn't that be "with whom I share the buses"?
Sorry - just trying to make your holiday a little less fun.
Anyway - have a lovely time. What other plans do you have, when the gin's worn off?

Oh yah boo sucks
I was hoping the weather was going to be a bit cooler by now so that I could do plenty of cooking, and especially baking, but Mother Nature has decided to make this the never-ending summer
I have a little work to do for Austin Beer Week, which I'm getting a nice fee for, and I have to complete a course for work, which I get paid for too, so all in all this is going to be quite a lucrative holiday, bearing in mind it's paid time off too
I also need to go the local Indian food shop to buy more and various other items, like Cadbury's Double Decker and suchlike
But mostly I'm going to enjoy catching up with some films and not doing very much And especially not waking up at 5.45am

Still doing a fine job of waking up before 6am Only two more chances to get it right and wake up with the alarm at 7.00.

I didn't wake up before 6am this morning. No. I woke up before 5am... possibly before 4am
I woke up in the dark (sunrise is around 7.20), tossed and turned for about half an hour, then decided to turn the radio on (in the dark) expecting to hear Morning Edition on NPR. I actually heard the BBC World Service, which is what they broadcast from 11pm until 5am. I turned on the light and checked the clock - 4.25
I did manage to get back to sleep and woke up again at about 6.00.

You'll no doubt get it right on your last day off.

Nope, didn't manage it. I tossed and turned (and fell back to sleep, twice) for a couple of hours before I decided to turn the radio on and hear someone say "It's 6.41".
It's always during a dream that I wake up, and I had some very, very ones this morning.
