It does, doesn't it. Very woody. Not at all tinny. Sounds like it ought to be the name of something... a musician, a band, a business.

What is "lortitude"?
I keep searching for a better name for these devices many of us carry in our pockets. "Phone" is the least of its functions for some of us. I think it was Neil Stephenson who suggested "jeejah", but I don't think it's catching on. "Mobile" (pronounced with both syllables accented as Moe+Bile rhyming with Joe Isle) works as it doesn't describe a specific function.
Any better suggestions?
