There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Started conversation Dec 6, 2014
I've been doing a thing on Twitter for a week or two now, finding some little clip of a song, a TV ad, a kids TV programme, a film trailer from the 1970s on YouTube, and posting one (almost) every day.
Last night I was at work and listening to some of the music on my laptop. There's a lot on there I haven't listened to in a while, and in several instances completely forgot I had. This was one of them - Journey by Duncan Browne. I always thought it a shame that he wasn't better known and more successful because this is a very fine song, but maybe that's not what he wanted. For me though, it's one of those songs that bore their way into your soul and stay with you for the rest of your life and always make you when you hear them.
I haven't heard it in years, and once it started I suddenly had a very vivid flashback to the early 70s Nor did I know, until I looked him up, that he died at 46
So, ladies and gentlemen, for your listening pleasure (and you'll hear it again on Twitter soon). Journey by Duncan Browne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSCPL0cWcio

Now I have to say I don't remember this version, which of course was the original, but I do recall a local group covering this at a folk club in the mid 70's.
