There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

But I would have given my eye teeth to have been here today, or at one of the events lined up for the coming month http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-28756779

I've seen a Lancaster fly, and more than once. Whenever there was a flypast over some event in central London, the planes would gather and circle over Walthamstow Marsh before getting into formation and heading in. I lived about a ten minute walk from there, and the blue plaque that marks the spot where a certain A.V. Roe made the first flight in Britain in an all-British aeroplane, and whose company, Avro, went on to produce the Lancaster bomber. So whenever I heard there was going to be a flypast I'd take a walk down to the marsh and stare in wonder, but mostly I'd just listen.

I've also seen one at actual flypasts and at various other times too, and I've seen a Lancaster and Spitfire/Hurricane flight, but I've never seen two Lancasters together smiley - bigeyes The sound of those eight Rolls Royce Merlin engines, a sound which the BBC person who filmed that clip utterly failed to capture properly, must have been something very special smiley - brave

There's an annual air show at nearby Ellington Field. While I see the planes do flyovers around the area before and during the show, I've never actually gone to the show. There is also an air museum on Galveston that I haven't gone to. They feature many WWII era planes that feature in the Ellington air show. I don't know how many British planes they might have, they're bound to have a few. I know they have a few Japanese Zeros that feature in the show.

When I read your post earlier, I got a bit of a syntax error that led me to ask this question...

So, if Spanish Fly makes one horny, what does Lancaster Fly make one?
