Live Oak Pilz is one of my favourite local beers. If I've had a tough day at work and don't feel like cooking when I get home, that'll always be the first beer I order at the restaurant I most often go to in those circumstances, and I might have another afterwards before I ask to look at the rotating tap and special beer list. I'll stay on it for the night at some places if there's nothing else I fancy. It's 4.7% so it's borderline session. I'll usually stick at four in an evening... or rather, try to smiley - blush

You can call me TC

Is it really called Pilz? That is German for a mushroom or a fungus.

Pils is German for beer brewed Pilsen-style.

Sorry - I'll take my pedant's hat and leave.

By the way, I'm reminded of this comic concerning the subtleties of German. http://www.gocomics.com/9chickweedlane/2014/06/03#.U8e9I_ldU1I
