Nah... come on.... It'll be more steampunky and gothey than... a really steampunky gothey thing.... I think nice silver coloured rivets and studs, maybe even spikes, will be the key... and black leather...

Well I was thinking, just off the top of my head, loose change, emergency cheese, keys, wallet, cigarettes, lighter, pen drive, set of allen keys and jewlers screwdrivers, a hankerchief, pocket fluff, any small items of shopping one might pick up, headphones and MP3 player, headphones for mobile phone, USB/charger cable for phone, that sort of thing

Actually that sort of makes sense, in a surreal 2legs-sy sort of way. I can sort of see the construction of that, it should come in layers for ease of use as well as comedic value.

There would, I should point out; be nothing to stop me having wheels, on extending legs, attached to my codpiece! ; I could design it to match my watch containment /watch strap unit 2.0... kind of matching pair... same spikes... and studs...a nd rivets, and chain, and buckles, and 3.6 MM thick black leather... hand stitched, and stitch-thonged... Trust me... It'll b epic maan... Think a cross between blackadder, steampunk, and the origional version of tron.... with a bit of fawlty towers and Mr bean and goth-dub-step-rock-mod-victortiania/Edwardaia thrown in.... it'll go great guns with m y thigh length black leather boots, and bondage leather corset... trust me (I do so hope I am not being 100% serious... but now even I am beginning to doubt this......

yes! a set of bandgers, on it, that I can light and set off, at inoppertune moments! 
and zips for all the compartments, and the special cheese preservation/storage compartment to keep the cheese at exactly the right temp and.... maybe some kind of neat fold up touchscreen thing, built into it, on the otter suface.... 
hmmm.... might look a bit odd, though; typing on ones codpiece....

How about a built-in mini loudspeaker with a Bluetooth connection to your phone, which has a load of pre-recorded phrases that you can make it speak at the press of a touchscreen, as well as sound effects and pieces of music like The Ride of the Valkyrie

OH... definatly... on all* accounts wont' anyone think of the small piece of furry blue-tac it clearly needs a home! BoB-damnit... I'm gona have to actually* make this cod-piece now, aint' i? 
how does... one even wer a codpiece... it is on the outside isn't it? I@m guessing soem kind of strapping might be in order, for attachment purposes yeh... I can picture it... half way between a body-harness and... what it'll be... which is... err... sothing... definately soemthing it needs buckles... zips... and studs... and... yeh.... maybe fauz-badger fur or faux-otter fur on the outside I'm guessing... whaja think?
